mirawa Posted November 23 Posted November 23 (edited) Dear administratorย I cannot access my account normally. I just registered a few hours earlier. I need to know what happened and need to restore my account. Thanks in advance. My username is mirawa. I registered a few hours earlier on Jonny free hosting. wolstech Posted November 23 Posted November 23 It's suspended for high load. Whatever you were running is WAY too heavy on memory. You used your entire day's quota (100GB cumulative use in a 24 hour period) in ~2 hours.ย How do you plan to fix this so it doesn't happen again?
mirawa Posted November 23 Author Posted November 23 This must be a mistake. I just tried a nodejs app from GitHub. And I just setย firewall to off. I should delete this app and set up firewall then. Won't happen again.
wolstech Posted November 24 Posted November 24 Unsuspended. It might take a few minutes to start working again. Node is one of the few things you have to be very careful with on here because it consumes exorbitant amounts of memory very easily.ย Please don't run this app here again. I would suggest looking at the node tutorial on our wiki if you plan to use it. Most pre-built node applications out there are designed to be run on a VPS where you have the entire server to yourself. 1
mirawa Posted November 24 Author Posted November 24 Noted. I have already deleted the app files and switched on firewall.
mirawa Posted November 24 Author Posted November 24 What PHP version should I set? I noticed the outdated PHP and 128M memory limit. I am using free Jonny Hosting.
KazVee Posted November 24 Posted November 24 You can change your PHP versionย to whichever you prefer to use, from the list of PHP versions offered on Johnny. If you install software packages from Softaculous, they'll sometimes require a specific PHP version, but they'll say this during the install. However if you're building your own PHP app, just choose the one you want from the available list. Please note that you will not be able to run both Node and PHP on the same subdomain. If you want to build a Node app and also a PHP app, you'd need separate subdomains for them. You can have up to 10 total domains/subdomains on your account, so if you want a 2nd domain, please follow the steps here and create a new request thread, and we can make the changes for you. 1
