devlab Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Dear Helionet, I would like to request for the reactivation of my account. This hosting is used for academic purposes only, my students are using this to test their applications in the utilization of API for login process. Hoping for your kind consideration of this request. Regards, Rhix
wolstech Posted November 11 Posted November 11 I've asked about this in a staff channel for you. It looks like you and your students all got flagged for multiple accounts because our system thinks they all belong to one person. I'm looking into whether we can just whitelist usls.edu.ph so accounts from the university don't get flagged for this.
wolstech Posted November 11 Posted November 11 I've gone ahead and unsuspended devlab in the meantime, and once I hear back about the whitelisting I'll see about getting the other accounts unsuspended as well (which look to be the students, some have emails like s######@usls.edu.ph).

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate your support as this platform greatly helps our students in their school dev projects being deployed online for testing and presentation.
Krydos Posted Wednesday at 02:54 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:54 AM Yeah, you can definitely use our servers to teach your class. Let us know how many accounts you need, and how long they will be used for.
devlab Posted Thursday at 05:42 AM Author Posted Thursday at 05:42 AM I am serving 3-4 classes with 30 students per class, they are working in a group, we need at least 25 - 30 accounts for all the classes running 2 semesters every school year.
Krydos Posted Thursday at 04:46 PM Posted Thursday at 04:46 PM Sure. If you provide unique email addresses for each account we can send out invites.
Krydos Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Since so many of these students are using personal gmail.com addresses they are still getting suspended by our multi account detection system. Can we please get this organized so they are all using studentname@usls.edu.ph email addresses or something like that so we can identify them prior to getting suspended, and then requesting to be added to the class exemption list?
Krydos Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Usernames that we know of who are in this class: devlab, romrarito, aelreje, dtfj03, meglopez, duckworth, vinzj Are there any others?

Yes we can do that, I'll have them use their student email and provide you with a list. Thank you so much

What's the best way to send you the email list and the request for exemption, is it okay to post it here?
wolstech Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago You can post it here (we can remove once done), or you can PM it to me if you would prefer it not be posted publicly at all. We can send invites for the student accounts so they don't need to worry about signups being open. For the ones who already signed up on their own, just let us know which student email address goes with each account, and we can update the account to use that address instead of making them sign up again.
