[Solved] Setting up "Super Page Cache"

I hope this is the correct subforum, I'm sorry if it's wrong.

I followed all of your suggestions to reduce server load on a WP site. When I installed and set up the suggested plugin, "Super Page Cache" (with cloudflare) it gave me this warning message in the settings: "If you are using Plesk, make sure you have disabled the options "Smart static files processing" and "Serve static files directly by Nginx" on "Apache & Nginx Settings" page of your Plesk panel or ask your hosting provider to update browser caching rules for you."

I am not used to using Plesk and I do not know how to do this. I would appreciate help doing this if it needs to be done, please.

You posted your request in the right place. 🙂

I believe that changing Apache & Nginx settings would change things for all users, so it may not be possible to do this for you on the shared hosting and you might need to look into getting a VPS plan (https://heliohost.org/vps/) but I've escalated this support request to our root admins for confirmation.

"Smart static files processing" has been disabled on your domain. The setting should go into effect in about 26 minutes. For anyone else who searches and finds this, you can actually turn this off yourself by going to

Login https://heliohost.org/login/ > Continue to Plesk > Websites & Domains > [Your domain] > Hosting & DNS > Apache & Nginx > Uncheck the smart static files processing box.

Keep in mind changing most settings like this can take up to 2 hours to go into effect.

@KazVee Maybe we should add these instructions to the Wordpress wiki?
