Krydos
You can enable remote connections to MariaDB databases yourself through Plesk. When you create or edit the database there is the option at the bottom to allow only local connections, remote connections from certain IPs, or remote connections from all IPs. lag666
Hello and thank you for your reply , i 've already done that but i get access denied .... is the port wrong or i need a suffix in the username or something else ?
wolstech
Something is wrong with your client. In the error message it shows that the part after the @ is not 65.19.141.77 even though the host name you typed in looks fine. I don't know what that domain it's showing is, but it should show the .77 IP address or tommy2.heliohost.org. Try clicking OK on the connection settings dialog without testing the connections, then go back and edit the connection again and hit the test button. Krydos
I wonder if ppp089210002124.access.hol.gr is their ISP or university or work internet or someone in between hijacking the 3306 port? Maybe try using a different internet connection.

wolstech
Your ISP is likely using a proxy that intercepts your network connections. This is not compatible with mysql (or many other non-web connections for that matter) You'll need to either call them and see if there's a way to turn that off for port 3306, use a different Internet connection like a cell phone hotspot, or use phpmyadmin instead.
