[Solved] SMTP is not sending the verification mail to Gmail users

SMTP hosted on johney server is not sending the verification mail to Gmail users while it's sending to temp mail accounts.as i figured out it's the problem from hosting sides .plz solve the problem.thanks 😌

Gmail does not accept email from our servers by default. What domain is the email coming from?

It likely needs spf and dkim set up.

Also, keep in mind that even with this, the messages will likely end up in the spam folder on gmail. Pretty much all email from our servers is considered spam by gmail, even stuff like our invites and announcements goes to spam for these users. They only start delivering to the inbox on gmail once a user finds them in spam, and clicks "not spam".

Domain is Gmail SMTP , Is there any other method if not then How to set up spf and dkim? Can you set up for Can freemock.helioho.st

SPF, DKIM, and DMARC have been set up for the domain freemock.helioho.st. I recommend sending a test email to https://www.mail-tester.com/ to make sure everything is set up correctly. If you get less than 10/10 link the full report so we can help you fix any other issues that there might be.

For admin@freemock.helioho.st it is 10/10 and in spam folder but for Gmail SMTP it is 3.5/10 but same in spam folder that is not good.

Do you use Google Workspace or something? If so you need to get their SPF, DKIM, etc and we'll need to set those records on your DNS.

You need to be sending mail using our server if the "from" address is an email ending in freemock.helioho.st. Gmail smtp with a free gmail account only works properly if your "from" matches the exact address on the gmail account (using gmail with a custom domain requires a paid Google workspace account with the sending domain verified on it).

As above, if you do have Google workspace, you need to provide DNS records that you're supposed to set and we can set them for you.

It's  Gmail account's 2 step verification, i am using Gmail app password as SMTP password and Gmail account as SMTP username. Gmail SSL port 465 as SMTP port.

From is the same Gmail account's email id . i was using the same configuration on different freehosting and it was working on same configuration as below:

Hostname: ssl://smtp.gmail.com

Username: #####@gmail.com

Password:#####

Port: 465

Protocol: smtp

but due to some reason I have shifted to heliohost, it's working for protocol: mail but not smtp

It's still not sending email verification link to Gmail users but sending to temp mail users . Even it's sending forgot password mail to all email users without link only password mentioned in mail.

I figured out mail contains link and send from heliohost is blocked by Gmail because without link it's sending to spam folder but with link it's blocked and not seen on any folder

I'm going to lock this topic since there is no point having two threads about the exact same thing from the same user when there's nothing we can do about it anyways.
