That's interesting. Are you maybe looking at the wrong page. I think you
might have two places where this page resides.

OH yeah, I just looked at my icon. It is wa2uet-weather.com/wx.htm

Why is that. I need to get rid of that "wx.htm"

In the file index.htm try putting this after the <body> tag.

<div style="max-width: 410px; margin: auto"><div style="float: left"><a href="https://www.wunderground.com/weather/us/ny/ghent"><img alt="weatherunderground" src="wundergnd2.jpg" height="200" width="200"></a><div>GHENT AREA FORECAST</div></div><div style="float: left"><a href="http://www.rvwars.org"><img alt="rip-color transparent" src="rip-color transparent.jpg" height="200" width="200"></a></div></div>

I have the web page looking pretty much the way I want it now.

But I would like to have it taken out of the "wx.htm" folder if possible. I
don't seem to be able to do that here or I don't know how. If I go to the
web site without the "/wx.htm" tag there is an old version of my web page
there.

Can you fix this for me or is it something I need to do?

Thanks

I cannot edit the Index.htm file. It is rewritten each time the files are
sent. I must have to change something in the weather app. I don't know what
but I will keep trying.

Thanks

I found this manual which I think is for your weather station

https://p10.secure.hostingprod.com/@site.ambientweatherstore.com/ssl/vws/vwsmanual.PDF

Section 8.12 describes how to change the template

8.12 Web Page Templates Your software was shipped with several HTML templates. To view these templates, select Weather Website Builder from the Internet Menu, and select one of the Web Page Templates.

You should be able to customize the way the page looks with those instructions. You edit the .htx file and then the weather station generates the index.htm from that.

I don't see this list of templates you talk about. I have this manual. I see
the same info.

But I can go to a different window and tell it to change the wx.htx file to
index.htm. But it does not change where the file is sent to the server. I
still have to type "wa2uet-weather.com/wx.htm" to get to my updated web
page.

Doesn't that mean that I am sending my wx.htm file to a folder on the server
named wx.htm? And somehow I have to send it to a folder on the server
labeled "index.htm".

OR do I just have to send a file named "index.htm" instead of "wx.htm". I am
obviously confused!

In the window "server login" there is an entry in the initial directory box
"/home/admin/web/wa2uetwx.heliohost.us/public_html"

Does this maybe indicate where I am sending my files? If so what should it
be? Should that maybe be blank?

That looks good but can you somehow get there without the https://???

I would like to have it work with just the simple "wa2uet-weather.com"
entry. Can you do that???
