I changed the directory to:
/home/admin/web/wa2uetwx.heliohost.us/public_html

The directory listing shows up in the window but it is not being updated. It
seems like if I can see the directory listing I must be in the right place.
Not sure why it is not being updated.

Are the files still going to /home/wa2uet/ ?

If so then there is something going on here that I cannot figure out so far.

Thanks

The address I am using to access my website is "wa2uet-weather.com"

Has this changed somehow? It opens the web site but the date is still
9/29/23.

I also tried using the directory "/web/wa2uetwx.heliohost.us/public_html"
that also showed a directory listing but did not update.

Yeah, the files are still going to /home/wa2uet/ but it's alright, I just symlinked /home/admin/web/wa2uetwx.heliohost.us/public_html/ to /home/wa2uet/ so you can continue uploading the files to this new directory. If you take a look at https://wa2uet-weather.com/ now it shows October 16th data.

Well I don't understand that because I don't even see that directory. But
thanks. Now I can rearrange the page to my liking.

How can I access the site code to add some information etc.?

I found this manual which I think is for your weather station

https://p10.secure.hostingprod.com/@site.ambientweatherstore.com/ssl/vws/vwsmanual.PDF

Section 8.12 describes how to change the template

8.12 Web Page Templates Your software was shipped with several HTML templates. To view these templates, select Weather Website Builder from the Internet Menu, and select one of the Web Page Templates.

You should be able to customize the way the page looks with those instructions.

Thanks, I will check this out. But be aware, Ambient no longer exists, so if
anything requires contacting them it won't work.

Much appreciated!

You can upload new code using the same SFTP credentials that you're using to upload the weather images. One of the most popular SFTP clients is Filezilla, and you can install that on Windows.

I installed that "filezilla" app and can view the files that are on the site
but I don't see a way to access and edit the actual code. What am I missing?

You can edit the code on your local computer, and then upload the modified files with Filezilla.

As far as editing goes you can just something as simple as Notepad, or as fancy as something like Visual Studio Code. Both are free, but the latter is an editor specifically designed for editing code, such as HTML, and a lot of other types of code as well. Notepad is just an extremely simple editor that can get the job done if you don't have anything else. I recommend NOT using Wordpad, or Microsoft Word or an editor like that because they might not handle html well or might add strange symbols, etc.

Let us know if you have any other questions or need more help.

I really appreciate your help, but I have forgotten how to access this code.
I have done this before but my mind is a blank. I can view "Page Source" of
course but I don't have access to it.

Never mind, I think I found the file.

Thanks again.

I am not sure how much you can help, but I will see.

On my web site, wa2uet-weather.com I have a logo up in the top left corner
and another RVW logo in the center below it.

Is there a way to have them both on the same level? I don't see a code to
move the RVW logo down. But I am very green at this.

Thanks

I took a look at https://wa2uet-weather.com/ and I don't see any logos in the top left corner. There are two broken images for ambient weather up there, but like you said earlier it's because they went out of business so their domain isn't working anymore. Is there some subpage I need to go to?
