Krydos Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 Your account is active, and your website appears to be working although it's password protected. Are you able to login now?
HelioHost Posted April 26, 2023 Author Posted April 26, 2023 I can login and acces the site, however, i get 404 not found error for most of the files that had been available prior to inactivation. A have double checked, the URLs are correct, all the files are there, yet no access. What is going on? Krydos Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 If the files are there, but giving a 404 error it could be your .htaccess file is blocking access. You could try renaming it temporarily to see if that fixes it.
HelioHost Posted April 27, 2023 Author Posted April 27, 2023 No, there is only a HTTP to HTTPS redirection in the .htaccess file. Disabling it did not solve the problem. As I can see, .php and .gif files are accessible but none of the .js nor .css files. Most importantly, I did not change anything, all worked fine prior to inactivation, this issue occurs since restoration only. I suppose this has to be server related. Krydos Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 It could be your browser cache. Sometimes the redirect to our inactive page gets cached and your browser continues trying to follow the redirect for resources that are typically cached like javascript and css. Try clearing your browser cache, or using a different browser.
HelioHost Posted April 27, 2023 Author Posted April 27, 2023 That was my first thing to do, i checked in two other browsers in which i never have opened the site. Also tried private mode, cleared cache, nothing worked. Accessing php files are working, accessing css or js files directly via URL gives 404. It was all fine before the inactivation. Krydos Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 Can you remove the password protection temporarily and provide a link to a page that isn't working?
