Although it's not the end of the world for me because I had manually made a .sql backup 2 days ago. (the server was giving me errors even back then, and I had to retry it 6-7 times before it would make a proper one).

We're going to back the accounts up as we rebuild the servers with plesk based on the earlier announcement.

If you need a backup sooner, you could upload phpmyadmin via ftp and use that to access and export your databases.

The answer, to me anyway, is quite obvious.  When you get in bed with a closed-source company like cpanel, they've got you by the nads.  You've forfeited your freedom and are dependent on their good will, which can evaporate at any time.

This is **EXACTLY WHY** RMS developed the GNU license and the concept of free (as in freedom, not beer) software.  It amazes me that so many people are so critical of RMS and his beliefs despite the fact that they  have been validated over and over and over again for the past 40+ years.

Your credentials are the same as cpanel.

Username: all lowercase, not an email address
Password: same as cpanel
Host: <your servername>.heliohost.org
Port: 1373 if you're on Ricky or Johnny, 1342 if you're on Tommy
Protocol: SFTP
Logon type: Normal

Creating full backups is the top priority right now. If you can't figure out how to connect to SFTP you can just wait for the backups to be posted. Tommy will be backed up first, then Ricky, and then Johnny. It may take a couple days for each server to complete.

Many users have reported to Discord that their emails are not available.
This will not work until the Plesk build is complete.

If you were using email in your custom domain, you should consider moving it to another server, even temporarily.
(Of course you can make it work on a VPS, but you need to install the mail app)

Emails for username@sub.heliohost.org and username@sub.heliohost.us will be unavailable for some time.

Another solution to the email problem is you could signup for a free account at an external mail service such as the free plan at Zoho https://mail.zoho.com/orgsignup.do and then they will give you the MX records to set. If you use an external dns provider like Cloudflare you can then edit your MX records to be what your mail provider gives you.

Okay, I'll wait my web "nmbayu76.eu.org" on plesk panel on tommy server is activated, I hope run smoothly with that, oh ya my storage on tommy server is 2GB please don't forget, thanks

No, HelioHost's shared servers (including the Tommy server) are still working. (Although cPanel is lost)
