[HH#578135] How to connect to MySQL databases remotely?

I=E2=80=99m new to SQL and networking and=

I=E2=80=99ve been trying to connect my application to a database. I=E2=80=

=99m using intellij and I=E2=80=99m trying to test my connect but I=E2=80=

=99m not sure if I=E2=80=99m getting this right.

I made a small table in the database using myPhpA=

something or what, but it would be nice if you could walk with me on what =

I should be using.

Have you enabled remote mysql connections? By default they are disabled. To enable them click the Remote Mysql button in cpanel. You can allow all ips to connect to your database with the % character, or just type the exact ip you want to allow access.
