hearts Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 SFTP fail due the server overloaded. Despite using the correct password: "Your IP has been blocked! The IP address **** has been blocked for trying to log in to SFTP with the wrong password too many times. To prevent this from happening again in the future please make sure your username and password are saved correctly in your SFTP client. You won't be able to continue to cPanel until an admin unblocks you. To request that your IP be unblocked please visit"
Flaze Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 I can't, I'm on mobile. I thought other staff could've handle it first. What's your IP? Also, I did not delete your account. It's probably the load that's preventing you from logging in and I couldn't reply to your message because it would break the desktop view.
wolstech Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 Staff generally does not accept PMs here unless requested by the staff member. If I receive unsolicited PMs, they're simply ignored. Your IP is not blocked, but you are suspended for having two accounts. Which of the two accounts do you want to keep?
hearts Posted March 18, 2020 Author Posted March 18, 2020 Thank you for the reply."Hearts" is the account wished. Please unsuspend this one with confirmation when access is enabled.
wolstech Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 Please check your PMs. As for that account, it's actually working fine, is there something you still need assistance with?

"To prevent your account from becoming archived again please remember to log in at https://www.heliohost.org/login/ at least once every 30 days" necessary even if the website has traffic ? 2. "Your account was suspended for causing high server load."Which parameter should be watched exactly and what is the precise limit leading to suspension.

Thank you for offering free hosting. Please remove the post of hrt 12:49 PM doubting if a moderator deleted my account. Glad to see you got it working. Post removed at user request. Please confirm if 1 IP is allowed to register only 1 account. It's one person, not one IP. You can have as many IP addresses as you want, you're still only allowed one account. If we see two accounts for a single person and you claim there's more than one person, we ask for government ID to prove there's two people. The reason for this policy is because people used to create two accounts to evade the disk space limit. A single person is only allowed 1GB for free, and can buy 1GB extra for $5 (one time fee). No account can have more than 2GB. 1. 1. Yes. You can be the busiest site in the world, and you'll still need to log in. If you're a donor, we can waive this requirement at a rate of $1 per month waived. We prefer it over time as a recurring donation, but can also accept the entire donation up front as a lump sum. We require the logins or donations as a way to keep abandoned accounts from piling up and wasting resources. A site's traffic is not a good indication of an account being used since abandoned websites still often see tons of bot traffic. 2. Excessive CPU and RAM usage. I answered this question here: https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/38856-how-does-the-suspend-account-script-work/ In cPanel, there's an option for "Account Load" that shows you where you stand. Keep those bars as low as possible and you're good If you're up around 100, you're likely to be suspended if the server load spikes.
