expopro Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 a. Heliohost username: expoprob. Server: Johnnyc. HelioHost main domain: http://expopro.heliohost.org/ Account was archived, now it appears queued. I can access cPanel and FTP, but the files I used to have are gone and no directory displays any index file that I create.
wolstech Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 Please clear your cache. You should get an empty directory listing afterwards "Index of /", your domain is working properly. That account was never archived by the way. It was created new 3 days ago. Did you sign up again?
expopro Posted December 4, 2019 Author Posted December 4, 2019 Thanks! I cleared my cache and it worked. What happened to the files I used to have before migration? I don't see them anywhere.
expopro Posted December 4, 2019 Author Posted December 4, 2019 No, I never signed up again. I only reset my password today to cPanel login and FTP. I had just opened an account mid October when shortly after migration occured, I had but a couple of files there with database connections. The account somehow reset; those couple of initial files to connect to databases are gone.
wolstech Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 Your account was created on December 1, which means it's not the original account (if it was restored, it should still have its original reg date of October). No idea why Krydos did that, but it looks like he just gave you a replacement account. It would also explain why you needed to reset the password. Lets see if he can actually restore it...
expopro Posted December 4, 2019 Author Posted December 4, 2019 Sure thing. Well, if it can be restored great. Like I said it only had a couple of files there, nothing too relevant, but I would rather not go through the trouble of configuring the databases again. Let me know if it could be done before I start working on the account full-fledged and forget about the rest it's no biggie, and I really appreciate the free hosting available to me. Thanks again! Kindest regards
Krydos Posted December 5, 2019 Posted December 5, 2019 Your backup is named expopro.tar.gz and it's located in your home directory.
expopro Posted December 5, 2019 Author Posted December 5, 2019 Thank you. I saw this I didn't know what those files were. I will now access the info. You learn a little every day, Kindest regards
