johnsanf13@gmail.com Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 When I login to HelioHost > cPanel > Java I see that for some reason I no longer have Java support for my account. I requested support and now see a message that the estimated install date is two weeks from now. I was hoping to have my Java support re-instated, if possible. I'm not sure why it was removed.
Sn1F3rt Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Do you use Java frequently? Non use may lead to it's removal. Or was your account archived recently? These are the possible reasons.
johnsanf13@gmail.com Posted June 30, 2019 Author Posted June 30, 2019 I access the Java application I developed almost daily. I login to HelioHost every couple of weeks. How do I go about checking if my account was archived? What does it mean to have an archived acount?
Krydos Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 I noticed that a lot of accounts lost their java access recently on Tommy. This is likely due to the tomcat downtime we've had recently. It shouldn't take a full two weeks to regain your access.
Sn1F3rt Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 What does it mean to have an archived acount?FYI an archived account means that your account has been sort of zipped for not logging in to heliohost.org once in 30 days.
Krydos Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Techincally an inactive account is one that hasn't been logged in to for over 30 days. An archived account is one that has had the inactive status for at least 30 days, or 60 days since the last login.
