waltspublic Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 This is on Tommy. Using PHP 7.2... I've seen this before, in other environments. I think it was a PHP plugin issue. Thanks for your time.
wolstech Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 Tommy's PHP 7.2 doesn't have the pgsql plugin installed for some reason. It's available on Ricky and Johnny, somill move this to have Krydos install it on tommy. 1
waltspublic Posted June 3, 2019 Author Posted June 3, 2019 Yeah, I tried PHP 7.1, and it worked fine. Go figure... Anyway, thanks for the quick response. ** EDIT - 6/3/19 **I was poking around HelioNet, trying to decide whether to use PostreSQL, or MySQL... Anyway, I was being nosy, and came across the "AOL Removal Tool". I think I used this, around 20 years ago. Lol. At any rate, I'm still not sure which SQL solution to go with. PostgreSQL seems to get higher ratings, and I've been looking at it, though the User/Role/Group thing seems like a mess, and the default, "public" schema situation (which is owned by postgres, and cannot be deleted) also has me scratching my head. As far as MySQL is concerned, there is the whole MySQL/MariaDB split, which has me worried, should I ever have to migrate, from one, to the other. Anyway, just a few musings... I'm a hobbiest, so it's not critical. That said, I'd be all ears on anyone's takes on the matter. Maybe, I should look into not using SQL, at all? Probably going to research this, latter, option, a bit... Thanks again, guys... ** EDIT #2 - 6/3/19 **I think I'm just going to use MySQL (if it's good enough for Nasa, and the US Navy...). This comment isn't to be interpreted as impatience, on my part, in regards to the status of the PosrgreSQL plugin installation, on Tommy. Rather, I'm, simply, bringing my attention here to a close (mostly). That said, I hope you all have a good one. HelioHost rocks! Thank you.
Krydos Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Pgsql for Tommy's php 7.2 has been installed https://krydos.heliohost.org/72/phpinfo.php 1
