The problem is that a lot of botnets also use it, and until we turned it off, we had a lot of criminals hosting panels for their botnets here. We didn't want that sort of stuff hanging around. We also had a lot of users who would run pirated/nulled software with it, so turning it off mostly fixed our copyright infringement problem as well. Quote
