Hellow Heliohost,

 

Yeserday I created an account so I could run my Flask app program in your

servers. As you say in your welcome page, you do it for free and everything

looks so colorful there.

 

But once you are using it sometimes you can't even see your file system

because it is unable to reload the page, it gets loading forever.

 

And if I want to test it by going directly to the domain, it takes the

whole life to finally throw up that an error was found.

 

The presentation letter is all but wet paper, seriously I don?t know your

intentions with this but if for a small piece of code it doesn?t work I

think is not even worth trying trying more time.

What server are you on (our system normally identifies you, but you emailed us from a different address)? If Johnny, that server is failing and is believed to have a hardware problem of some kind. Ricky and Tommy are a bit faster, with Tommy being fastest. You can see the historical performance of our servers here: http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/

 

If you can provide us your username and server, we'd be happy to look into what's going on.

I was using Jonny but the others were full so I only had the oportunity to

join there.

 

The thing is that I want to use your servers to do my thesis project and I

don't want to pay just for some months and then stop using it.

 

You were the best option I found but I want warranties this would work.

That would be why you're having issues. Johnny's both meant for people who don't care about uptime, and is also suffering from hardware failure. Considering you're just trying to do a thesis project, I'd be willing to move you to Ricky if you'd like. His uptime is much better. It doesn?t exists because I deleted it, but I am doing the registration for

Ricky.

Finally I could run my app on your servers with less lags and waiting times.

 

One issue that I found and drove me crazy: If you change permissions of

files/directories etc, you need to know that the only way the new

permission is updated is via permission option (the one with the key

symbol) not by modifing the numbers appearing on the right hand.

 

I tell u this because I stayed almost 2 hours trying to figure out why I

have the error message 404 even though following the tutorials to make it

works.

 

Thank you for you pacient with me and sory for the strong message I sent at

first, but I was really frustrated while trying to make my project work,

for free. Now it works better.

 

PS: As soon as I made my presentation of the project I will let you know.
