HelioHost Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Username: dylanjoz, Server: Ricky, Main domain: osborne.org.za Hi Guys, I just want to find out, I hear that you currently have a promotion to get 2000mb of storage instead of 1000mb of storage if you donate more than 5$, is this correct? If so, how do I go around doing it? I also saw a post that the extra storage only applies if you are on the Tommy server and that you need to donate to be moved to the Tommy server(I'm currently on Ricky). Can I just donate once through PayPal to get moved to Tommy and get the extra storage space or must I donate separately once to be moved and once to get the extra storage? Also, I see that you guys have mining software to attempt to earn a little bit extra, is it worth using now that cryptocurrency prices are falling? Kind Regards Dylan Osborne
wolstech Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 $6 or more will get you both. $1 for the move, $5 for the storage. It can be donated together or separately, doesn't matter. We just need you to send us the transaction ID so we can find it and set it up for you. As for the mining software, it's not the most profitable thing in the world, but we have made about ~$100 over the past year from people using it.
HelioHost Posted November 13, 2018 Author Posted November 13, 2018 Hi, I have donated via PayPal for the move and extra storage.Transaction ID: 2A1255888S522412J Thanks for the quick response ? I'll also attempt to donate as often as I can because you guys are running an amazing service. About email addresses hosted on a site on HelioHost e.g. for me dylan@osborne.org.za, do you know how secure these emails are? Are they encrypted when they are stored on the server? With the GnuPG email encryption available on cPanel does the user need to enter the password every time they want to view an email, or is the email decrypted automatically when you log on to the email address? Kind RegardsDylan Osborne
wolstech Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Moving now... And no, your emails are not stored encrypted. An email on a cPanel server is actually just a plain text file inside the ~/mail folder. You can check your mail by FTP if you really wanted to. I've never used the GnuPG implementation on cPanel, though I do use it on my home PC. I have to enter my password every time.
wolstech Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Done. Your account is now on Tommy and your quota has been increased. If you see a suspended or queued page, please clear your browser cache and flush your OS's DNS cache.
