Username: N/A, Server: N/A, Main Domain: N/A

 

Thinking about setting up my own email using *Horde *on *HelioHost*.

Looking for the simplest,* no hassle*, easy to troubleshoot, backup, etc.

I will be using a new *free domain*, from *FreeNom (just for email)*.

 

What setup do you recommend (in HelioHost), subdomain, etc?

 

I will be donating, of course.

To create an email address go to https://www.heliohost.org/login/ and login. Then click Continue to cPanel. Next click the Email Accounts button. At the top there you can create a new email address by typing your username and selecting the domain such as username@yourdomain.com. As far as backing up your emails I would recommend connecting a mail client such as outlook to your new email address and using the backup features in outlook to save your emails to your computer.
