It's used by people who can't access cPanel on the other ports. Some places like corporate networks can block 2083...

We need it to provide cpanel access to people for whom port 2083 is blocked. A lot of schools and companies block everything other than port 80 and 443.

Got it.

 

Perhaps there's any additional info. I could provide to CF support about the attack, so they will have a better chance to neutralize it?
