[Solved] setup ffmpeg

Hi,

 

my website is hosted on tommy server,i was wondering what os is running? and would it be possible to install ffmpeg(through a cron job may be)

I think we did have it on one of our servers at one point in the past, but it tends to cause a lot of load and will almost certainly get you suspended for high load because it uses a ton of resources.

 

I wouldn't recommend it, but if you really want to, I can ask whether this can be installed.

I don't need the whole package i just need the ffprobe tool to get info about video streams(i don't believe it will such load),i would much appreciate if such request is possible
