cmh Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Is it possible? if yes, where i can find certificates? is it Crt, Private key and CaB or something else?As always, I apologize for my English
wolstech Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 To my knowledge, we don't support SSL for database connections. Krydos might know if this can be supported. Escalating.
Krydos Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 SSL for PostgreSQL connections is available, but cpanel compiles mysql without support for SSL. I could recompile it manually but it would probably break all of the cpanel mysql functionality.

wolstech Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 It means all the options for creating/managing/etc. would stop working in cpanel, which would effectively make it impossible to use the MySQL server. We don't know exactly what would break for MySQL since we've never done it, but our past experiences with other things we've attempted to custom build have shown that it usually doesn't end well. We'd rather not break the server trying.
