huabao Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 I'm trying to use Prestashop 1.6.1.17 on Ricky and noticed an issue using the admin site. I noticed that there are pages that load multiple tabs and fail to completely load therefore I am unable to complete many critical functions (like saving). Looking at the logs, I'm seeing the following error. Link to database cannot be established:SQLSTATE[HY000] [1203] User ****_**** already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections The issue seems to be that Prestashop is using more resources than MySQL provides. I don't believe there is a way to configure the number of allowed connections, correct me if I'm wrong. Has anyone come across this issue and has a recommendation. Thanks
Krydos Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 Tommy allows more max connections than Ricky, but really the software shouldn't be using that many connections at once. I know a lot of other people use prestashop successfully and don't have that issue.

I've googled this and many Prestashop users are having this issue (not specifically on Heliohost).
wolstech Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Tommy will run software better than anyone, and also has an increased max connection limit compared to the other two servers, so that would be my recommendation as a next step.
