HelioHost Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Username: coco4, Server: Tommy, Main domain: greifswalder-bachwoche.heliohost.org Dear Heliohost support, I have a small problem with a Java file upload servlet that runs on the Tommy server for our account (coco4_content). The file upload servlet accepts an image from a form (via post) and stores it on the server. I have a problem with storing this image on the server. Is there a possibility that I can store the image directly in my home directory, e.g. /home/coco4/public_html? I have tried to store it there but failed, it was not created probably due to the fact that I cannot access my home folder or I have no rights. If I store it in our webapps folder, I'll probably lose all my uploaded data when I re-deploy the WAR file. So where can I store the file such that I can access it in JSP. Thanks in advance! If I manually deploy it I might be able to get some useful error messages for you. We aren't able to provide error message access because the log files contain information for the whole server and there might be private information in there from another user, and disclosing that information would violate our privacy policy.
