HelioHost Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Hi there. I am looking for mysql database hosting that allows multiple connectionsfrom within our software that is installed on customer PCsAnd then we have a website where we check which customers have our validsoftware licenses. I am using freesqldatabase.com but they keep dropping our connections andI've emailed them multiple times without any reply. I do not have a problem paying as long as the service is reliable. Thank you in advance Kind Regards=A0Aim=E9 SnydersNetkiosk CEO Customer Service Contact numbers:USA (LA) +1 (650) 614 1646US Toll Free +1(844) 6223111Netkiosk (Global Ireland (Dublin) +353 (0) 1 2549070Netkiosk UK (London) +44 (0) 20 7097 8578=A0web: www.netkiosk.co.uk=A0 ---This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software.https://www.avast.com/antivirus
Krydos Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 We offer remote mysql connections. They are limited to 4 at a time, but that is rarely a problem as long as your software closes its connections. We have some mysql powered websites that get tens of thousands of views per day, and if each mysql connection is only open for a few milliseconds that connection limit is almost never a problem. If you use persistent connections and never close them you can only have four open at a time. All of our services are free, but we recommend people donate the amount that they feel our service is worth to them because without donations we would quickly go out of business. Since your application sounds like one that needs the maximum uptime we strongly recommend our production server Tommy. That server has the best stability, lowest load, and highest uptime. Over the past year mysql on Tommy has been up 99.9% of the time. Let us know if you have any other questions.
