To prevent this from happening again in the future please make sure your username and password are saved correctly in your SFTP client. You won't be able to continue to cPanel until an admin unblocks you. To request that your IP be unblocked please visit I got this problem, what caused it i believe was that i changed password while using filezilla transfering over sftp, can i please have my account back?my pass for accessing SFTP is the same has the one using cpanel, isnt it?

When I tried to login, I got the following error message: "The IP address 71.206.231.117 has been blocked for trying to log in to POP3 with the wrong password too many times. To prevent this from happening again in the future please make sure your email client username and password are correct. You won't be able to continue to cPanel until an admin unblocks you. Krydos Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Unblocked. It looks like it was pop3 that got you blocked. Do you have a mail client with the wrong credentials saved?
