rp10001 Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 I recently performed a vulnerability test via a 3rd party which sent multiple emails using my feedback form. I believe this triggered the heliohost anti-spam flag which reduced my available emails to 1 per hour instead of 50. I'd like to have my limit reset to 50, how can I provide evidence that my email system will not be used for spam? Many thanks.
wolstech Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Considering the scan managed to spam your contact form, have you added anti bot protection to your form? Escalating to have this unthrottled.
rp10001 Posted November 1, 2017 Author Posted November 1, 2017 Hi Wolstech, Yes absolutely, I should have mentioned this in my post. I added an anti-spam measure in my code to prevent botting. I just want to use the email system for welcome emails.
Krydos Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Your 1 email per hour throttle has been removed, but if you exceed 50 emails per day it will automatically get throttled again. If you need to send more emails than that per day we'll require further information to verify that you won't be sending spam.
