I receive Command: PASS ****Response: 530 Login authentication failedError: Critical error: Could not connect to server I have rechecked accounts and passwords. I used the download ftp config file for FileZilla. this is ftping to: ftp.browning.heliohost.org with 'browning' or 'browning@sfskier.com' not sure if this is part of Addon Domain not completing. also, when previously I did Addon Domain with the option of creating a ftpaccount, that account was never created either. I'm guessing Addon Domainfailed before configuring the ftp account and config? Thanks,Blaine
Krydos Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 We highly recommend SFTP to securely transfer your files. Since you're on Johnny try these settings: Host: johnny.heliohost.org Port: 1373 Protocol: SFTP Logon type: Normal User: browning Password: <same as cpanel>
HelioHost Posted October 18, 2017 Author Posted October 18, 2017 now my IP has been blocked because of the ftp issues. also, I don't believethe other ftp account I created works. also, making ftp accounts via AddonDomain failed. also, cPanel on Johnny is unresponsive for at least an hour. please unblock my IP The IP address 73.93.141.131 has been blocked for trying to log in to SFTPwith the wrong password too many times. To prevent this from happeningagain in the future please make sure your username and password are savedcorrectly in your SFTP client.
