mrj Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Hi, I've noticed that I am getting ads on my webpages sometimes on the footer. It starts with "Guess you like". Please solve this matter.
miwilc Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 If your using WordPress, you can turn off recommendations in settings. Otherwise please provide your cPanel username, main domain and the server your on, so that the staff can look into it. Heliohost does not force ads, it's more likely misconfiguration on your end.
wolstech Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 I'm assuming its http://meraj.gq/ since that's the account linked to your forum profile. We don't put ads on our users pages, and I don't see any ads on that site, so it might be malware on your PC or something. Also, for what it's worth, Facebook Like bots are one of the top ways people end up suspended for high load and phishing. I recommend you not run that here.
mrj Posted August 12, 2017 Author Posted August 12, 2017 No, you got it wrong. That was a test on using materialize css. My goal isn't fb auto like. I've deleted that. You may have a look at: http://dl.meraj.gqAds are showing often.
Krydos Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 No, you got it wrong. Heliohost does not put ads on anyone's site. In fact, when people ask us to put ads on their site we refuse. If you don't want ads then use different software that doesn't have ads on it then, or better yet write your own software. You are allowed to put ads on your own site if you wish, but the ads cannot violate our Terms of Service either.
