wolstech
Ricky is showing poor performance for the past 24 hours (since 7AM PDT yesterday): http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/ I've noticed a few others commenting on the performance as well, and we just received a support email for MySQL being extremely slow on Ricky too. Krydos
Yeah, it looks like I got it fixed. If anyone is curious 54.183.177.45 and 54.183.43.24 had like 6,000 open connections to Ricky. He's actually quite a trooper to have performed as well as he was with that many open connections.
wolstech
Now that's a lot of connections. More surprised he didn't just fall over under the load. Were those connections actually doing anything that you could tell, or were they just open and idle? The fact those are AWS IPs could mean a bunch of things...using us as a data source of some form perhaps?
Krydos
I just blocked them in the firewall. I did not check what they were connected to.
