fsps Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Hello, I was told that my account on Ricky was created and I could log in. I was able to log in and view the available tools on "https://www.heliohost.org/login/" However, when I click "Continue to cPanel" I am continually getting "This site can’t be reached ricky.heliohost.org took too long to respond" with an error "ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT" I've tried reloading the page, I've tried reentering my login information, but I keep getting the same error page. This is unexpected from a production server. What am I doing wrong? This is an old HelioNet account. My HelioHost account is fldstn.
Krydos Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Can you log in from another IP address, like on your phone cell plan or using a web proxy or anything?
wolstech Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 @Krydos: Is there something on our website that could do this? I just tried it and the "Continue to cPanel" took forever (though it did eventually work, I was fully expecting it to time out...). Once I got in, cP seems to work normally. @fsps: Does https://ricky.heliohost.org:2083/ work to get into cPanel or does that time out too?
fsps Posted May 30, 2017 Author Posted May 30, 2017 @Krydos: I'm totally floored, but it works on my cell phone (with wifi turned off). Is it a cache issue? I just tried the "classic login" from heliohost.org and it failed. @wolstech: That link failed in my browser still.

Is anything working any better for anyone now?
wolstech Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Speed seems to be much improved from earlier for me. A few seconds vs. almost 30s earlier.
fsps Posted May 30, 2017 Author Posted May 30, 2017 This is starting to sound like I just have a slow internet connection, which I already knew. Maybe there's a setting that will allow my home computer to wait longer before timing out the connection. Thank you both for your help troubleshooting!!!
Krydos Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 @fsps I restarted the lfd. Are you able to connect now?
