misc314 Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 Dear HelioHost, As per this Twitter thread, I would love to be able to create a cert through cPanel, as well as have it automatically stay updated! Will this feature be released in near future? Fantastic service as always. Love you guys! Warm regards,Misc314
wolstech Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 We've had others ask for this. There's no way to do it right now, and we may end up needing to write our own cpanel extension for it (the only extension out there is the official ssl provider for WHM, which users don't have access to, it forces a cert on everyone on the server, and has a stupidly low limit of like 20 certificates a week) It's on our list of things I consider, but I wouldn't expect it in the near future.
MauroF Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 I know that it's not a complete answer, but you might want to consider using getssl. It's a tool that lets you generate (locally on your computer) a certificate with one click without even having the need to login and upload files. You must update the certificate on your own, but that's something
wolstech Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 Yeah, there's websites like zerossl that can do it too. There's a guide on the wiki on how to use their site to get a certificate for a site hosted here.
misc314 Posted February 23, 2017 Author Posted February 23, 2017 Thanks so much for the answer and suggestions
