HelioHost Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 Dear people from Heliohost,I have had my account (username "johannes", email johannes.teichert.gmx.at) for several years now and when back in december i think stevie went down I thought it would come back up sometime. Now I went back to check on it and my account doesnt seem to exist anymore. I cannot log in with my credentials. Also the account backup I downloaded seems to be empty.Is it possible to reactivate the account, or create a new one without the wait time?greetings,Johannes Teichert
Krydos Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 Stevie's hard drive crashed so he is not just going to come back up. When we realized that the hard drive was going bad we backed up as much data as we could, and placed it in the https://heliohost.org/backup/ system for people to download. All of the accounts on Stevie and all of the domains on those Stevie accounts have already been deleted so people can create new accounts on Tommy if they wish. You can recreate your account if you wish by going to https://heliohost.org/signup/ Be aware that free signups reset at midnight UTC and usually fill in a few minutes. If you want to donate $1 USD or more to help keep Heliohost operational we will give you a special Tommy invitation that will allow you to create an account at anytime and even when the server is full. We plan on buying Stevie some new hardware and rebuilding him soon. We should have someone on site to work on him on February 27th.
