Dtc Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Hello. I had an account on the stevie server where i had databases of blogs. I downloaded the compressed file to recover it and everything was ok except on the databases, because the only one that was worth recovering was only 1.22 kb and had no information in it. Is there any chance of recovering my databases or check if maybe the recovery system missed the databases? The one i'd like to recover is one called "dtc_blog_ideas". My username on stevie was DtcThanks.
wolstech Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 The only reasons the system would have skipped the databases is because they were either InnoDB (which Stevie had a history of losing regularly) or were unreadable due to disk errors (a lot of stuff was skipped due to disk damage...we have many users who lost the files too). There are no further attempts planned to recover data from Stevie. The disk is simply too damaged to read anymore. I'll escalate this to Krydos, but unless he happened to do something I'm unaware of (maybe save raw myi/idb files?) I doubt there's much we can do.
Krydos Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Last call for manual backup attempts was January 9th. http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/26930-manual-backup-master-list/?p=124822
