django
Wow this is really a mystery.. I changed from Stevie to Tommy, and all was well for a couple of days. But now a very very old version of my site appears. And I have no idea why.The files in /public_html are all from a recent backup I retrieved from Stevie, before moving to Tommy.I searched for old main or index files, but nothing. So it should show the newest version... What do I do? username: djangodomain: hotclublinks.com
Krydos
That domain is currently hosted on webs.com instead of us. If you want to host hotclublinks.com with us set your nameservers to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org.
django
Thanks for the quick reply. I didn't do anything, except change server. How is it possible that the site/my domain worked for a couple of days and now it doesn't? Is this a setting I have to change at webs.com? wolstech
It's a setting you need to change at your registrar. There will be a setting for nameservers on whatever service you bought hotclublinks.com through. You should be able to select "custom nameservers" or some such option, and enter ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org as the two nameservers. Remove any other servers that are already listed. After that, save, and let DNS update (can take a few hours).
django
Ok thanks for the clear explanation.I changed the nameservers at my registrar. Somehow two old nameservers were set. And now I just wait? Or can I manually update DNS?It worked! Thanks!
