I cannot log-in to my Cpanel as stive is down so can you pls help me to move my domain to other server and i also have ip asigned to my domain for using ssl (i paid 10 usd for it). So can u also provide me with the ip after i move my domain to other server

Yes I know that from the forms i just want to move to tommy that's what i requested (sorry if i offended you). as tommy is reliable at present.

Tommy is invite only. You should have received an invite for your dedicated IP purchase though. Anyone who has sent us any money for any reason in the last year or so had an invite sent to them.

Technically the $12 dollars for a dedicated IP is for a year, but we rarely charge people for the second year (or the next 6 years apparently in your case.)

 

Also Tommy doesn't really need dedicated IPs anymore, because we installed SNI. http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/25670-tommy-ssl/ As long as your website visitors aren't using something ancient like internet explorer on windows xp you can install an ssl certificate on a shared IP. There are some advantages to having a dedicated IP though. It has happened before where one of our ips get null routed due to illegal activity and all of the accounts on dedicated ips stay online. Stuff like that.

This is probably the big one here. It hasn't happened on Tommy yet since he's in private beta, but as a former Stevie user of 5 years, there was more than one instance on that server where I was down due to a shared IP null route caused by Phishing that HE reported and we didn't get cleaned up fast enough. The SSL benefit is sort of moot now as Krydos explained.

 

You've gotten 6 years out of a 1 year dedicated IP rental. If you want/need your dedicated IP, you're welcome to send us $12 and you'll get a Tommy account with a dedicated IP. Odds are you'll get several years out of that payment too since as Krydos said, we rarely charge for subsequent years.

 

If you just want the Tommy account on the shared IP, any amount $1 or more will do (and that's a one-time donation, the Tommy account never expires as long as you keep it active).
