bowo Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Username: bowoServer: stevie Hi helio admin,I have a problem with my wordpress database. When I open my wordpress site (bowo.heliohost.org) it shows: Error establishing a database connectionThe database name is bowo_wordpress. Checking database through cPanel shows:Error from MySQL query: DBD::mysql::db do failed: Unknown database 'bowo_wordpress'Failed to use bowo_wordpress: Unknown database 'bowo_wordpress' Same error message when I tried to repaired it. I hope it is still possible to recover it. Thanks.
Krydos Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 The invisible database bowo_wordpress (from 2012) has been reattached to your account. You should be able to see it now through phpmyadmin. If you can't access phpmyadmin please reset your cpanel password with the synchronize mysql password option checked. You will need to delete any database users who should have access to this database, and recreate them with the same password as your wordpress install is using. Let us know if you have any questions.

wolstech Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Here you go: http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/x3/passwd/index.html Select the "Synchronize MySQL Password" checkbox, then change your password.
