dahuhunter Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 I have a Johnny account (my domain is http://dahuhunter.heliohost.org/, login annakuz and it is inactive). When do you think it will be restored? I also saw on facebook that some users create and transfer their web sites to new account, for example, Stevie. Do you recommend me to do it ?How can I keep the same name? (youexplained previously that the admin help is necessary). Thank you!
wolstech Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 I would recommend moving to Stevie for now. Johnny's hardware failed, so until we can physically see it to diagnose it, we don't even know if its repairable. If you want, you could also consider donating, which will get you into the upcoming closed beta for our new unreleased server Tommy: http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/25503-tommy-closed-beta/?view=getnewpost
dahuhunter Posted August 12, 2016 Author Posted August 12, 2016 How can I move to Stevie keeping the same domain name?
dahuhunter Posted August 12, 2016 Author Posted August 12, 2016 Hello again, I found a link to crate Stevie account. http://www.heliohost.org/home/create-stevie-account However, it does not allow me to use the same domain name "dahuhunter". Would you be able to enable it please ?Also, can I keep the same user name (annakuz) or should I create a new one? Thank you in advance.
Byron Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
Krydos Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Ok, try creating your Stevie account now. You should be able to use all the same info as your Johnny account, but let us know if you get any other errors.

dahuhunter Posted August 13, 2016 Author Posted August 13, 2016 Hello, I managed to create an account, but now I have a problem with the FTP configuration. It seems that Dreamweaver cannot access dahuhunter.heliohost.org/home1/annakuz. It is said that the file does not exist or there is an authorisation problem. What should I put in the setting for root ditectory?
Byron Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Signups actually reset now at 5pm pacific which is approximately 3 hours 53 minutes from the time of this post.Is that gonna stay that way from now on? I need to change my page here if it does: http://bybyron.net/helio/sign-up.php
Krydos Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Is that gonna stay that way from now on?Yes. What should I put in the setting for root ditectory? If you're using your main FTP account that came premade then your FTP root is/ = /home1/annakuz/ /public_html/ = /home1/annakuz/public_html/ The reason you're getting an error is because you're telling your FTP client to go to /home1/annakuz/public_html/home1/annakuz/ which doesn't exist.
