stcyrly Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I was a HelioHost user previously until 8 months ago I temporarily lost my domain. I've just re-acquired it and am trying to come back. My site was on Johnny formerly, I would rather it be on Stevie. I followed the last email link I received from 7/2015 to reactivate my account, but the account has been deleted completely. Since I could not get in, I decided to create a new account on Stevie from scratch. An email came saying the account had been created, but 6 minutes later I received an error message in my inbox:A DNS entry for “michaelstcyr.com” already exists. You must remove this DNS entry from all servers in the DNS cluster to proceed. The trouble is, my previous account username capnpip is not recognized in the system, so cannot access it in order to remove the DNS entry. When I created the new account this morning it allowed me to use the same username since it no longer exists. Is it possible for someone on your end to purge michaelstcyr.com from the DNS cluster so that I can get my account setup? Any assistance appreciated.
Byron Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 michaelstcyr.com has been purged from the DNS cluster.
stcyrly Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 Thank you, I was able to create my account. Can I assume it will take an extra 24 hours? When I check the status in the creation queue it says it's active, when I try to go to the site it says it's queued, but when I follow the link on the queued page to go to cPanel, it takes me to johnny, not stevie, which won't let me log in. If I manually go to michaelstcyr.com/cpanel, it takes me to stevie. And it's not a caching problem, this is a new computer that had never accessed the site previously.
Byron Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Yes, give it 24 hours. Post back if you still have problems. Make sure to clear your cache before you post back.
wolstech Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 That domain is now working and the /cpanel address is directing to Stevie as it should. If you still have any issues, please clear your cache.
