skullys Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 I have deleted all database in mysql but they still remain in myphpadmin. On a related note... databases were created while attepting to intall piwik from softaculous, they would show up in myphpadmin but NOT in mysql. If I attempted to create database with mysql, I would get notification that database name was already taken, however as I stated, database was only visible in myphpadmin and not in mysql.
wolstech Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 You can't drop these yourself. An admin needs to drop them for you. What are the database names?
skullys Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 Here are the ones I need dropped.... _1_owa485_piwi662_piwi756_piwi947_stats I would still like to install Piwik or Open Web Analytics from Softaculous but I need to know how to do so without having the same problem of database showing up in MyPHPAdmin but not MySql.Seems to be a bug / conflict in the installation process and MySql.
wolstech Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Are you in Stevie? Softaculous is broken on Stevie (related to the broken MySQL server...). These should install fine on Johnny. Also, what is your username and domain?
skullys Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 Yeah I'm on Stevie..... skullyskullythepirate.com So is a fix for the broken MySQL server on Stevie gonna happen or should I consider some other analytics... statcounter, add free stats, etc?
wolstech Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 We fixed Johnny a few weeks ago. The plan is to eventually apply this fix to Stevie as well. I'd suggest free analytic sites like statcounter until we implement it, since we don't have an estimated time for the fix. I'm waiting on it too for an app of mine. I'll escalate this to have the databases removed for you.
