ejweb Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Hello, I am having a few problems with my MySQL database. I cannot log-in to phpMyAdmin from my Web-hosting Johnny account, "ejweb", and am getting the following error message when I check the database using "Check DB": Error from MySQL query: DBD::mysql::db do failed: Unknown database 'ejweb_zonama'Failed to use ejweb_zonama: Unknown database 'ejweb_zonama' Is there anything that I would be able to do to help fix these problems? Thank you.
yashrs Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 We broke a bunch of databases in a attempt to fix the MySQL database server crashes. Our root admin Krydos needs to fix this. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
Krydos Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 I cannot log-in to phpMyAdminTo fix not being able to log into phpmyadmin simply visit http://johnny.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/x3/passwd/index.html and change your password, but make sure you check the box labeled "Synchronize MySQL password." Once you do that you should be able to log into phpmyadmin once again. The database ejweb_zonama that you listed should now be visible to your root mysql account. You may need to delete, recreate, and reassign permissions to any database users that should have access to the affected database. Let us know if you need an further help with this.
ejweb Posted June 12, 2015 Author Posted June 12, 2015 Hello, Krydos. Thanks a lot for your help. They both work now just fine.
Krydos Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Awesome! I'm glad everything is working for you once again.
