NikeBoy2 Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Hi, My helioHost username = NikeboyServername = stevieMain domain : nikeboy.heliohost.org Could you clarify why my account was suspended, please ? Thank you,Kind regards,Nikeboy
yashrs Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Your account was suspended for having more cron jobs. The limit is 2 cron job executions per day. Your account is unsuspended now.
NikeBoy2 Posted January 25, 2015 Author Posted January 25, 2015 Thank you for reactivating my account. I am a bit puzzled though, as I only have 1 cron job per day ! I have double checked and I can only see 1 cron job (in the current cron job section), so I have no idea where the other cron jobs are coming from ... Could you give me more info on where these jobs might come from ? I don't want to be suspended anymore but I have no idea how to solve this ...
wolstech Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 It's 2 executions, not 2 jobs. So you can have one job running every 12 hours, two jobs that each run once daily, etc. If you need them to run more frequently than that, use a service like setcronjob.com to schedule them.
NikeBoy2 Posted January 26, 2015 Author Posted January 26, 2015 I have 1 cron job which runs only once a day (already for a long period). I haven't changed anything on this cron job, so still I am wondering where the other executions came from !? It there some kind of log on this ? Or could you give me more specific info on the multiple executions ? Thank you
wolstech Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 You might not have done anything wrong...turns out our cron suspension script broke. See http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/20492-cron-job-suspension-script-malfunctioning-a-lot-of-suspensions-for-exactly-28-jobs/
NikeBoy2 Posted January 26, 2015 Author Posted January 26, 2015 Thank you very much for the feedback !
