ombenowner Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 when i go to : http://mydomain.heliohost.org/then it always redirect to : http://mydomain.heliohost.org/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi anyone know why? and how can i fix it?
yashrs Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 You registered your account your account today. Wait for your domain to propogate. Stevie accounts can take upto one or two days to reolve.
ombenowner Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 And then can i delete these files : _private_vti_bin_vti_cnf_vti_log_vti_pvt_vti_txtcgi-binimages_vti_inf.htmlpostinfo.html(all files above created automaticly) is any risk when i delete these files?
wolstech Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 The _vti_ folders and _private are frontpage extensions. Go here and uninstall them for all domains listed: http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/x3/fp/index.html Those folders will go away automatically once uninstalled. The images folder can be removed if empty. Leave the cgi-bin folder alone.
ombenowner Posted June 26, 2014 Author Posted June 26, 2014 till now, the web looked like : Ahoy! You're seeing this page because HelioHost has not gotten about to installing and configuring your account yet. This process usually takes 24 hours, and once it is complete your website should show up properly. While the account is being created we suggest taking a look at your control panel. is this normal? i create this host yesterday morning
yashrs Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Please clear your cache if you are still seeing that. That was completely normal as websites take some time to get out of queue. Your account is out of queue now and is up and running.
ombenowner Posted June 26, 2014 Author Posted June 26, 2014 hey, you right! This is very shameful I even dont know to clear my cache over all, thanks again :)
