If I change the main domain of Heliohost, which is a subdomain of Heliohost to a TLD, then can I get back the subdomain in the future if I want to get it back ?

I assume you mean doing something like changing x.heliohost.org to somedomain.com. Yes you can get x.heliohost.org back in the future by changing your main domain back to it, provided someone else hasn't taken it while you weren't using it.

Exactly, I am looking to do that. btw, thank you for your answer. :)

You could also keep your current helio subdomain, and park your new domain as addon in your root folder, so they both show the same site.

Then you don't have to change your main domain.
