paladox2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Author Posted February 11, 2014 Hi my main domain is random-wikisaur.tk and my username is paladox.
Krydos Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 I skimmed through the documentation quickly, and it looks like it would be useless for you even if I did install it because you don't have shell access. Besides it's probably less work for you to just install the dependencies manually rather than messing around with a dependency manager, but that's just my opinion.
paladox2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Author Posted February 14, 2014 ok so will you install it or is it a security issue
Krydos Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 It's not a security issue, but like I said already I think it would be useless for you since you wouldn't be able to use it whether it was installed or not.
wolstech Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 I think it would be useless for youCron job + scripts might do, although the 2/day cron limit would make this painful. As you saw in the quick look at the docs, it requires being able to run commands (mediawiki docs). Someone made a web interface for it...and it uses exec(). Not completely useless, but close enough that it might as well be. I'd say the best choice for him is to just install the dependencies manually.
