I really need more space. I have no images or videos, but my sites are taking up to much room. I have used 497mb,is there anything I can do about this?

To quote HelioHost,

500 megabytes should be more than enough to handle any forum, blog, or other script you might need to host. Sites that might encounter problems with this limit include photo galleries with high-megapixel images or online storage sites. In general, this limit should not be a problem to the great majority of free hosting users.

If you really need more space, I'd suggest looking for a paid solution.

Lancersupraskyline pretty much answered it. We don't offer any way to get more space.

Another thing that many forget though: Did you made a full account backup at any point? If so, the backup wastes space until you delete it, so you should download the backup and delete them from your account. The backups are usually saved in your home folder.

We limit people to one account for exactly this reason, so no you cannot. Doing so will get you suspended.

An admin might have additional suggestions on how to free up some space since they can actually see your account's contents.

The only way we've given away more disk space was for winners of our annual contest. I don't really see much of anything on your account that could be deleted. I suppose you could only host one of your addon domains or something. You only have about 2 MB that you could free up by deleting mail even.

Making an exception for you alone would be unfair to the other users.

As for the competition, you know, you could search the forums...

But it has been quiet for quite some time now.

I believe Shinryuu was running that contest this year. You'd have to ask him.

Dunno shinryuu disappeared and haven't heard from him sense
