Krydos Posted November 10, 2013 Share Posted November 10, 2013 What wolstech said is all correct, but I'd like to add that uniformity and lack of upgrade options are some of the things that make Heliohost different. A lot of webhosts are borderline scams because everything you do requires you paying them more and upgrading to some other package. A lot of the time the "free hosting" option is really just a worthless trick to get people hooked into their service. Then when they figure out that they can't really do anything for free they have the decision of paying some money or going to the huge hassle of moving their domain to another host. Unfortunately most people don't want to expend the effort to move to another host that is probably the same scam anyways so they just give up and shell out the money. Here at Heliohost all accounts are equal. The only thing we charge for is dedicated IP addresses, but only because our IP provider charges us for them. If we could give away free dedicated IPs to our users we would. We're not trying to scam anyone into paying us by hooking them with freebies. We aren't owned by some malevolent corporation whose only desire is more and more profit. We are exactly what we say we are: free webhosting.
