Tarzan Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 I have a peculiar problem. One time heliohost was down and I couldn't reach my page (www.matfynd.nu). After a while, it came back up again, but since then, I can't reach it from home, neither log on to my cpanel. When I do a tracert call on my page, it times out onconnex-internet-services-inc.gigabitethernet6-4.core1.fmt1.he.net [216.218.217.178] (in trace 12)Is this your server? This is the last stop before 216.218.192.170 (which is the homepage). I can reach it from other places, not just from my home network (tried different browsers and computers). As I can get 12 trace steps, I certainly can go pass my router. I've tried to flush my dns with no luck. I tried a factory reset on the router. No luck. Does any kind soul know what I should do, or have any suggestions? :-)
wolstech Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 I wouldn't be surprised if Stevie's firewall accidentally blocked your home network's IP address...it happens sometimes. An admin can tell you for sure and unblock if needed.
Ice IT Support Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 Check your .htaccess file in public_html for any Deny statements and remove them. Also check the IP Deny Manager in cPanel. I am also able to view your site fine.
Tarzan Posted July 9, 2013 Author Posted July 9, 2013 Ehm... it might be, it seems like I can't reach my account at all now. Has something happened to it? I try to reset the password to my e-mail (gmail) but no e-mail is showing up. I've checked the spam folder as well.I have the same user name, Tarzan, as here.
Tarzan Posted July 10, 2013 Author Posted July 10, 2013 Now everything's working again. Did you do some magic, 'cause I haven't done anything, it just started working. Thanks!
