Master649 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 I made a payment for STEVIE SSL server but cannot create an account as the maximum amount of signup has exeeded. Why would that be when I just made a $12.00 payment?
wolstech Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 The sign ups on Stevie are limited per day. They open again everynight at midnight Pacific, so try signing up again just that time. When you go to sign up, select the free (non-SSL) account since you already paid. Once the free account is created and active (it takes a day or so to become active after you sign up), post in Customer Service so an admin can verify the payment and give you the dedicated IP address to use SSL. As for the system letting you pay anyway despite the account signup limit being reached...I'll agree that it is a bit silly.
Krydos Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 There are three steps to creating an account with a dedicated IP.Create the account.Make the paypal payment.Post on the forums.Generally when there are three steps to a process people don't do them in the order of 2,3,1 but the way it's set up right now we can't really stop them. The process for creating an account with a dedicated IP was recently streamlined from a much more confusing set of instructions to what we have now, but I agree that it could be further refined. Thanks for your input.
