giulio74 Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 I can not set well my domain. Tk it has three choices:1 - Domain forwarding 2 - Dot TK DNS Service 3 - Custom DNS the first to enter my domain plr-gold.tk working but is in fact only a redirectobserving when the page loads refers giulio74.heliohost.org and has not to my domainfor the rest I do not know how and where to insert the dnsCan someone kindly help me? my domains is plr-gold.tkNote: the template inserted and only for testing.
Shinryuu Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Under custom DNS use ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org, then in cpanel, after waiting for your dns changes to propogate, go to parked or addon domains and add your new domain; a parked domain shows the same content as your main site, an addon domain is it's own website separate from your main domain.
giulio74 Posted April 12, 2013 Author Posted April 12, 2013 (edited) thanks for the responsehow to make then connect the new parked domain?ie in cpanel I create a new domain is parked then as I connect it Edited April 12, 2013 by giulio74
Shinryuu Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I'm not sure what you're asking, but once you successfully add your domain to the parked list in cPanel then your domain is parked.
giulio74 Posted April 13, 2013 Author Posted April 13, 2013 I added the domain plr-gold.tk in my cpanel but it does not work what should I do there is now a folder in filemanager plr-gold.tk is I put the file then what should I do?
Shinryuu Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 The domain plr-gold.tk doesn't have NS records set, it actually has conflicting A entries as well. http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/php/tools/dns_records.php?domain=plr-gold.tk&rec=ALL
giulio74 Posted April 15, 2013 Author Posted April 15, 2013 I can not figure out what to dohowever, I glued two screenshots this is the domain with dns : I added a domain is that? is that correct???
Shinryuu Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 The DNS settings are correct, you shouldn't have a folder in ~/public_html, that only happens for addon domains and cPanel creates the folders on its own. I'm not sure why it isn't working in your case, perhaps an admin can look at it.
giulio74 Posted April 16, 2013 Author Posted April 16, 2013 The DNS settings are correct, you shouldn't have a folder in ~/public_html, that only happens for addon domains and cPanel creates the folders on its own In fact, I've added the domain with cpanelwhat is that wrong??Who can help me?
Krydos Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 The domain plr-gold.tk has NOT been added to cPanel. If you want the domain to show the contents of /home/giulio74/public_html/ then use this link http://johnny.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/x3/park/index.html If you want the domain to show the contents of /home/giulio74/public_html/plr-gold.tk/ then use this link http://johnny.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/x3/addon/index.html
