njaohnt Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Username: njaohntServer: StevieMain domain: jzdb.heliohost.org The domain "superfungames.tk" appears with the "HelioHost account Queued", and it has been for a long time.
Ice IT Support Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Did you add your domain as a parked or addon domain in cPanel? Also, I would recommend setting your nameservers to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org
njaohnt Posted October 13, 2012 Author Posted October 13, 2012 Somehow a file for the domain got made. However whenever I try to add the domain it says this:Error from park wrapper: Using nameservers with the following IPs: 50.23.197.95,72.20.15.62,174.37.196.55,174.128.246.102 Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.
Krydos Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 That error will go away and you will be able to park your domain once you get your nameservers set correctly. Check this link http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/php/tools/dns_records.php?domain=superfungames.tk&rec=NS and when it says ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org then you will be able to add the domain.
njaohnt Posted October 15, 2012 Author Posted October 15, 2012 But why doesn't it work with the other DNS nameservers? It works with other domains, and there is an error in .tk that won't allow me to change the nameservers, and they have no way to contact them.
wolstech Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 there is an error in .tk that won't allow me to change the nameservers, and they have no way to contact them.I had an issue changing NS's once as well on an old tk domain. If it's the issue I'm thinking of, it's a bug that's been there for a while. I canceled my domain (it was up for renewal anyway), then waited for it to become available again (some week or two) and re-registered it. As for support, yeah, they have none for free users. However, there does appear to be some contact info scattered around: * I found this contact for paid users: http://wiki.tk/how-do-i-contact-dot-tk* And the WHOIS lists some info: http://www.networkso...s-search/dot.tk* Many sites also have a "webmaster@" or "admin@" address as well, often not listed anywhere. You can try these if need be. I'd suggest sending an email to the paid user address asking why it won't allow changes, and where website bug reports should be sent.
